The Pleasant Hill Lay Clergy Council
is
a group of local churches from various Christian denominations
partnering together to demonstrate God's mercy
providing assistance to those in need in Pleasant
Hill, Strasburg, and East Lynn. Together we
provide four Mercy Ministries to our community.
Thrift
Store
The thrift
store provides low cost clothing and home goods.
Donations are welcome. Please
make donations during business hours. Bring your
donations to the Veterans Parkway entrance. Clothing
should be clean and gently used. Home goods should
be in good condition.

Food
Pantry
The food
pantry provides groceries for those in need. The
food pantry is open Thursdays
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Enter
the east door of the Tucker Renewal Center on Cedar
Street.
When
you come to the food pantry, please bring a current
utility bill and picture ID. You
may receive food once a month for 3 months. Further
assistance requires financial review.
You
can donate food to the food pantry Wednesday 9:00
a.m.-11:00 a.m. or
Thursday 8:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. -
5:45 p.m. Bring your donations
to the east door of the Tucker Renewal Center on Cedar
Street.

provide utility assistance for households that meet the HHS Poverty
Guidelines.

Meals on
Wheels provides low cost meals to those who cannot
cook for themselves. If
you would like sign up for Meals on Wheels or
if you would like to volunteer to deliver meals
